Who We Are

After graduating from St Andrews, like most geography graduates, Luke pursued a career in law, training and qualifying at Freshfields in London before joining Ropes & Gray’s corporate team, where he spent the remainder of his legal career. His nearly decade-long experience in private practice, including a secondment to BAML, gives him unique insights and the ability to offer genuine, tailored advice to lawyers.

Having worked in some of the world’s most prestigious law firms, Luke empathises with the demands and challenges faced by lawyers. His personal network, built through years of collaboration with partners, counsels, and GCs, is now central to his recruitment practice.

On a personal note, despite his southern accent, Luke is a die-hard Liverpool fan, claims to have run a sub-20-minute 5k, is married to a lawyer (apparently not for recruitment purposes), and has a dog called Archie who may have inspired the company’s name…

Ben is a seasoned legal recruitment professional with nearly a decade of industry experience. He holds a BA in theology and History from the University of Bristol and completed his GDL and LPC before initially working as an FA and RFU Registered Sports Agent.

Eventually, the legal field drew him in, leading to a successful career in recruitment. Ben spent five years in the in-house market, later expanding his focus to private practice. He has worked with some of the world's leading law firms, investment banks, alternative investment funds, and central banks, building a strong network of industry leaders. His deep knowledge and global connections have made him a trusted recruiter for top-tier firms, in-house institutions, and ambitious legal professionals.

Outside of work, Ben is 25-year season ticket holder at Arsenal and a keen follower of England cricket. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, young daughter Luna, and his dog Wilma who may have inspired the company’s name…
